The boom in innovative textiles with special functions continues unabated. Sports and outdoor clothing with odour-inhibiting properties, for example, is all the rage. The principle is simple: certain finishes and materials ensure that the products do not smell of sweat, or smell significantly less, despite strenuous activity. But how can such a function be objectively proven? It's simple: our trained odour testers evaluate the sweat odour intensity of clothing previously worn by our test persons in specific application situations (e.g. sports, work). And did you know? With our malodour tests, we are also able to assess detergent products such as powders, liquid detergents or gel caps in terms of how much they reduce or completely prevent sweat odour.
